ARTIC 2010 to ARTIC 2011
On returning from our holidays we started 2010 in sub zero temperatures as the Highlands were one big ice box. Although we did'nt have bursts pipes, the roof's were groaning under the weight of a 12 inch layer of thick ice that eventually brought down gutters and drainpipes. Most of our time in January was spent completing a very difficult jigsaw puzzle which kept us up until the early hours of the morning. The ground was like sheet glass and Myra fell, I helped her up but immediately slipped and fell heavily on my back for which I am still having trouble with 14 months on.
Still spring eventually came along with the ducks, pheasants and rabbits and the cycle started all over again.
